I don't really believe that it's reis - the killer is supposed to have use of the force. I think it's Leirosa (that is, Amidala). I could believe that she has a bit of Force in her, and in the films she's been handy with a blaster.

I came to the exact same conclusion as Kuci, and have long been suspicious of the rather large role R4 has been playing in the plot so far.
