I think I asked this in a previous game, but I don't remember the answer so I will ask again rather then risk screwing up.......
I am going to end my turn on the "##" at the end of the Pitt and a speed of 6.......can I end my turn with an "A" or does this still count as part of the pitt area and result in a speed violation and reversal of the pitt result? Also, on the following turn can I start with an "A" or does this also count as a speed violation and a reduction of the pitt benefit?
I quoted the rules but I am not positive I am reading them right:
/mePit stop.
Speed limit. must be 6 or less inbetween and including ## markers.
Your speed is determined as you cross the ## marker. "A"s or "B"s at the beginning of your speed (if done prior to passing ##) are not counted towards your current speed.
example. You're 2 squares from the ## marker. Your current speed is 8 your orders are B(B+1)MMMMMM . Since your Bs are executed before you move, your speed will be considered 6
IF YOU VIOLATE THE SPEED LIMIT, YOU RECEIVE NO BENEFIT FROM THE PIT STOP and you will have just wasted your time.

Although Rah undoubtedly will have the opposite opinion of me ...
"including" means to me that you can't have a speed of 7+ while on the ##. So, no A until the beginning of next turn... but i'm not sure if you could begin your next turn with A or not. I'd say yes to the latter, but i'd be a lot less sure about that.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Silly old man that I am, I'm sure I've decided this one before but memory sometimes fail me. (yes, you all will be old one day also) And I'm too lazy to go back and check posts to see if the following answer will be consistent so here's the rulling of the day.
The pit includes the ## markers so you can't end the turn that you land on them with an A since your end speed would be 7. Same as entering the pit.
But if you're sitt ing on the final ## your next square is not in the pit so you can add and A to start that turn.
This is similar to the P marker, If you land on it you are regenerated and considered past it at the start of the next turn, so I believe this is consistent with how it should be.
If someone wants to go back and search for a possible contradiction before the next turn is logged, I'll rule on it.
I still may ignore previous precedence.
(because the GM is still the final arbitrator)

Rah, You would not let me A on the end pit marker in the last one that you did, but it were my second A so it may have had more to do with no special powers in the pit than what you are stating above.
