The POWs quickly came to a rather crushing conclusion. There was another member of the Norwegian resistance on the stalag, known by his codename, DarkCloud. The prisoners decided that obviously, the other Norwegian had killed the other, perhaps in fear of his fellow Norwegian seeing through his ruse and identifying him as the Kommandant's agent.

And so, they arranged for the quick death of DarkCloud. Surrounding the dirt fields and the barracks was a fence of barbed wire. A few meters before the fence, there was a small piece of wire stretching all around. This formed a no go zone between the fence and the prisoners. If one would step into the zone, the guards in the towers would open fire...

DarkCloud was hurriedly carried to the wire, and pushed to the no go zone. Some screaming in German was heard, DarkCloud tried to get back behind the wire before he would be noticed, but just as he was crossing the wire back into safety, he was shot dead.

The assumed death of the murderer brought little reprieve to the camp, however... the following morning, when everyone was preparing for the first meeting to start planning out the escape, Adagio was found outside in the courtyard. He had been decapitated with a shovel.

Another killer was at large, it seemed, and this time they had no idea who it was, and why they were doing it, save for some speculation that the Kommandant had snuck in not one, but two of his henchmen.
