Erm... there's nothing stopping me from doing so. Make an OnEquipped script that applies +100% movement speed, and an OnUnequipped that removes that effect.
But right now I'm trying to script the first cutscene in BG where Gorion and the PC meet an armoured figure outside Candlekeep, and GorionSpoiler:

Long answer: We can only carry skill points over because of a limitation in the NWN engine-- namely, that you can't buy half a rank of a cross-class skill like you can in PnP. (In PnP, you have to spend all your skill points once you get them.)Comment

Well, not so fast... I'm extracting the conversations now with Infinity Explorer, and they're in the same format that NWN uses. The monster list for BG1 is pretty short, the item list is pretty short too... Ok, its a LOT of maps, but having all the material already to hand is making it a doddle so far.Originally posted by DrSpike

Jam, if you can wait until 16th June (date chosen at, er, random of course.
), then send me a list of what you need and I'll give you what limited help I can offer. I'll have to load BG up again (and maybe cheat so as not to have to play all the areas again), and work on a few maps of your choosing. Although I think it would be wise if you were to give them a quick check before incorporating them into anything good.
