It sounds as though you're just doing an SP version then. Well, not a PW at any rate. I was more interested in writing some "original" content, beefing up certain monsters, and chucking in extra stupid gags. We want it to go into the "humorous" (sic ) section of the NWVault don't we?

By way of encouraging more people to roleplay, I suggest the inclusion of some w00tly magic items restrcited to evil and/or chaotic, without the usual sap of having the same for goody-goodies.

And the Flaming Fists have to be absolutely unbeatable until at least level 10 or 12! No matter how much cheese someone applies.

You know damn well that the first 20 pages of comments on the mod are going to be "Why is this different" and "Why is that different" without me making it worse Of course I'm not plagiarising BG1 - I'm completely copying it. That's the point.

I like the way smilies allow one to make rude comments and get away with it

I can play test as well. I recently finished BG1 so I'm fairly up to how it is.

Now, in BG1 there are no monks, sorcs, rapiers, katanas etc... are people going to moan if they don't find any kukris? I don't mean any MAGIC kukris, I mean NO kukris. The only exotic weapons are bastardswords.

I'm having fun beating up hobgoblins and ankhegs with my 6-strong party at the moment I'm making a few more monsters than there were in the original. Do you have any idea how much of BG1 is just empty space? Its insane! It needs filling with about 50% more baddies than the original version.

You're gonna love the hench scripts

Current position - working out how to make Ankhegs go up and down holes and spit at the PC. At the moment I can make them do one or the other.

I like empty space. I like exploring.

I made a thread in the bioware Dragon Age forums asking for a larger game world. The builders/designers said that wasn't going to happen. I expect it to be like KOTOR- which I feel is too small. Oh well. I'll probably still buy it if it's good, which it probably will be.

As long as the baddy isn't immune to crits the a character witht the save or die critical feat will just pwn everyone.
