I was looking on that cool site and thought it might be 'Robot Rubble'.

It was a 16bit system wasn't it - i remember it had much better graphics than the Atari2600, but i only knew one person who had it here in the uk, it might have been a bigger platform in the usa?

Oh, and CoT, I think the "mother of civ" game you are thinking of is called Utopia. It can also be found on that site.

Ah, yes the one CapTVK already mentioned - by all accounts quite advanced for its day, although even to me the graphics are pretty primitive

It did fairly well in the US, but not to the same level as Atari. I grew up with one, and knew several other people with them, so maybe it just seems more common to me Actually still have mine tucked away in storage, ready to be brought out any time I'm feeling particularly nostalgic!

Hmm... I'm not sure! As far I was aware, it was an Intellivision only title. Let me look into that...

          • I guess in order to keep things moving, I will throw another game out there (something a little easier )

Clue 1: Ok, it's this game, see? And you are questing, you might say. But you're doing it to be a hero. And there were a couple of games in the series, but this one involved vampires, got it?

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
