  • Doesn't that get a little boring?

    You couldnt know.*

    * unless you make your own module and test it ten billion times

    • I have too little gaming time, and hence it is precious to me. I will not waste it on such frippery.

Not with the excitement of parsing through all your scripts for errors!!!1!

I really hope that Space gets a job making RPGs, while you are still stuck economificating!

          • this should be the final version.

            /me crosses his fingers

If one of you guys could test it again to make sure. I did but I may have missed something. I want to make sure its complete before putting it in the ign database, they're harsh and a good number of them are butt-wiping hekklers.

              • I uploaded my module to the ign database as it is. I dont have any more patience, I downloaded the CEP a few days ago and I really want to install it and see what goodies are in it.

                  • Space, I played through your mod. It's not too bad. I liked to the cultist temple.

I few things I noticed that you may want to change:

-no discount from mergo. Perhaps set his appraise check so low that anyone can pass it.
-the dragon has a long conversation block, it might be more interesting to break it up a bit
-I never want to see another giant beetle again, they get annoying quickly
-who's that screaming in the cave?
-a few minor bugs: torches not lit in gob chief's room, and giant has same voiceset as the rogues I killed earlier.

It could also use some flair to make the levels more interesting. Garbage's room was the best looking, despite being in the sewers, because of all the junk you put in there.

Still can't imagine having to fight those damn beetles ten billion times.

So I have given up on that. I have many cool ideas floating around my head, by they are difficult to implement.
The lexicon has some tutorials on how to build basic quests and become familiar with the toolset. With that and lilac's script generator, you should be able to create some cool stuff.

I've scrapped a few of my old mods. The story of my first mod just didn't flesh out into an interesting game, so I ditched it. But I learned a lot from working on it. in fact, I am using some of the old puzzles from it in my current one, such as the gates to the vault, which work much better now.

He sells stuff at 95% mark up instead of higher.

advice given too late Im afraid, will be taken into account for future modules though.

-who's that screaming in the cave?

The same man sobbing at the dragons feet.

                        Overall did you enjoy it?

Now that I have CEP I shall test your module, it gives me something to do while my brain starts churning up new ideas.

Space demonstrates just a few reasons why CEP is teh w00t.

                              • Well I finished it again Space.

I don't like how it ends, but everything else is fine.....Tuberski's Tongue

It should end in the city, not back where you started.

Overall not to bad. But leaves you with questions, which is good if you plan a sequel.
