Henry Morgan & Captain Kidd


Has anybody seen these guys. I can't locate them. They're the only 2 Legendary Pirates I haven't vanquished, and that's because I can't find them.

In my first game, I found Morgan NW of Santa Catalina near mainland Central America. Was really in the middle of nowhere really... Can't remember where I found Kidd, but it was early on in my game

Specialists

Carpenter--Makes repairs to hull while still at sea.

Sailmaker--Repairs sails while still at sea.

Cooper--Preserves ships food, allowing crew to travel farther on less food.

Gunner--Trains crew to fire broadsides more rapidly. Double ship's rate of fire.

Surgeon--Heals crewmen wounded in battle.

Navigator--Increases fleet speed at all points of sailing.

Quatermaster--Enforces discipline at sea. A well disciplined crew is less likely to desert or mutiny.

Cook--Prepares meals at sea. Helps keep crew's morale up.

The only way to recruit specialists is by capturing one from another ship that has one or defeat Montalban and get all 8 from him.

Remember back when I played the first game on my C64 cassette (I have three copies of the game; C64 cassette, diskette and amiga) and there was no pictures. Didn't have a clue about the girls looks and then I got my 1541 and got see that religious lizard you could have married.

That is not true. I had a C-64 and you could tell how pretty the Governor's daughters were.

Well, yes you could tell, but not visually. You have understand that Pirates! and civilization was how I learned english. I didn't get everything.

This is interesting. It appears a little bit of spyware snuck its way onto my computer. The word "travel" in the Gunner description is grey text with a green underline. It's hyperlinked to some search engine I've never heard of. search.information.com

Isn't that just the same thing as if you write SC3000 (or was it SC3K)... Isn't this some forum software that does this, since I've only seen it happen here? And I see the word travel as a link too...

I use both Adaware and SpybotS&D and they do a bang-up job of keeping my computer clean. Clearly, this is some nefarious Greek plot.

Nah. It's just Muad'Dib messin' with ya. Try quoting ADG's and his post. You can see that SC3000 appears in plain text, which means that the link is created on the fly by the forums. The word travel, however, is surrounded by all the HTML. Besides, if it was a greek plot, then it would be so for everyone. But then when I say travel, travel is not underlined. Neither is it when you say travel. Travel. Hey you never know. (travel) Maybe it only happens (travel) sometimes.
