Yeah, I played all those on my old computer which was a similiar build (Only it had less ram and a geforce 2 MX instead of a voodoo3) It would struggle with the highest settings on some of those games (such as Warcraft 3) but they where all playable without even resorting to minimum graphic settings.

If I recall correct, EQ2 says 512 MB/1 GHz minimum. And it's right here, the game will load on a PC with these specification. It doesn't say anything about fun, however.
I think the problem is with a memory leak with the game though. because when I first load the game, it playes fine. But as I change areas more and more, the game gets slower and slower.

Yea that's a typical memory leak and the devs know it. It will be fixed, I am very sure. Meanwhile I just camp and reload every 4 or 5 zone switches, annoying as hell, but this way I can keep the slow down at bay.
