I was actually trying to make a ghost pickle on a stick, but combining it with a skewer doesn't do anything, and it doesn't show up on the "cook" list.

      I don't have a mall store.

It appears that the effects of potions from rogue (Dungeons of Doom) are different for each character.

                      • What's a good food item to get Moxie?
Sneaky Petes Key Lime Pie is best....

...in other news: Bakalov has joined another clan so members of Apolyton clan are advised safety in dealing with him.

Izchak's Blessing gives a big boost to Moxie for 10 turns.

                          • For me, the best familiars are the leprechuan, the bloody-faced volleyball, the ghuol whelp, and the cocoabo. The gravy fairy is a bit weak. I guess the star starfish is great for wizard types, but I don't have a great use for MP's. The sable-tooth lime, the howling balloon monkey, the spooky pirate skeleton and the mosquito supposedly attack the enemy, but they keep missing and don't do much damage. The grue does massive damage when it's completely dark out. I have no idea what the levitating potato and the barnicade do. Do they help at all?

My best schtick is hanging out in the Castle in the Sky fighting the giants. With the Star Buckler and an Astral Shell, the damage I take each round is reduced to 1HP. So I could bring along the leprechuan or the volleyball for awhile, until I am quite worn down, then switch to the ghuol whelp.

The best way to avoid damage is to get your Moxie up. That means donating at Sneaky Pete's shrine, eat Sneaky Pete Key Lime pies, and use Sneaky Pete's Breath Spray (unless you have Mr A's like some people ).

Other than Sneaky Pete Key Lime pies, what else increases Moxie? Insanely Spicy Bean Burrito is great for Muscle and Insanely Spicy Enchanted Bean Burrito is great for Magicalness. Salty Dog knocks up Magicalness a bit while Extra Spicy Bloody Mary and Roll in the Hay increase all 3 stats.

What are your experiences with food and drink?

                            • The new dungeon is great! The potions are a fantastic touch as well. Wheres my morningstar of Westernesse when I need it?

My food mostly consists of eating my way through my great stack of hell ramen. I have never really got into the food/drink crafting part of the game though
