    Which wouldn't be surprising.

The teenagers and the sexually deprived found it boring. It appealed to a wholly different audience. A much broader audience, might I add, which is exactly why it was the biggest-selling game ever. Which is also why I've been trying to say that it is a mistake for them to revert back to the "regular" gamers and risk loosing their big fan-base.

Are they like throwing in weapons, spells, monsters etc? As long as they arent i dont think theyre going after hardcore gamers.

      • No, thats planned for the expansion pack "Sims: Gang War".

        • All the screenies seem to say:

-You can build doors and windows on diagonal walls
-Houses can be built on multilevel terraiin
          -The graphics are nicer
          -There's more steamy interaction now
-(maybe?)you can play the Sims through work (the uniformed soldiers in the restroom scene)
          -(maybe?)they've put in cars (neighborhood)
          -nice new neighborhoods design
-(maybe?)it hooks in somehow with SC4K
-Weddings, childbirth are now more complex than in original Sims
-NPCs like the police are involved more.

Who knows? Let's just hope Maxis doesn't turn this into another expansionfest.

          • I just hope they do something against the problem they showed up in Hot Date, where you could go with the taxi downtown, spend a couple days there, then go home, while the clock at home haven't changed at all.
Would be more interesting IF I choses someone to go out for the night, that person wont be back home before night, while when I'm done downtown I go back in time to when this person left home, so I can screw up the other persons lifes (Of those who was home the whole night)
This space is empty... or is it?

              • Yep, they do... I have (or had.. not sure if I still got it) a small video where you see the aging of a family... very funny...

I think it's also avaliable on the official The Sims 2 site

                • One should really visit the official site. It has lots of information, features and such. BTW, mrmichell: one can not play the Sims through work, that has been stated several times before.

                  • Oh, well, you see, I'm not interested enough to actually go to their official website. Just enough to view these screenies threads.

Oh, and one question about this picture:

How come the 3 visible sims all got military uniform, while the one in the toilet stall (?) don't even have boots/socks on?
                        Looks pretty strange/funny I think

                        And here's a new picture:
