In other words, we are struggling against the whole world.
I should be able to play tomorrow, tonight being dedicated to a party.

I'm hopeful that we can conquer the Egyptians rather quickly. Perhaps 20-30 turns-ish, maybe less.
I'm not sure why the Scotts attacked us, but if we can swallow the Egyptians into our ranks then we should be much more able to fend off our enemies.3am...! Can't be, I just started...!

Sorry for the delay, but once again I have had a very busy week (including the week-end) that did not allow me any extra-time to spend on any PC game. I will have a lot of time starting from tuesday late in the evening and until the end of the year (to the exception of the week-ends which are often devoted to tabletop games).
I will play wednesday afternoon if you don't mind.
Note: if any one of you have not seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind run towards the first movie theatre and enjoy a moment of true happiness (not of the fantasy or science-fiction kind but rather of the lost in translation kind, brilliant!)."Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." 1395 AD Starting researching Electricity
1400 AD Americans going to war with Nigerians
Ottawa resisting to a Scottish attack
1405 AD Vancouver taken by the Scotts
Taung resisting to another Phoenician attack
1410 AD Ottawa resisting to another Scottish attack
1415 AD Utica taken by the Koreans
Ottawa resisting to a Korean attack
Swazi taken by the Phoenicians
As you can read these turns have been terrible, I have tried to build up the defence of our cities but the ennemy was too close and proved to be able to attack before the units were built or transported were we needed them, there is a score of ennemy units in the countryside, they are pillaging our road network and the ennemy is building railroads to transport units to the front. I really don't know what we can do to resist as we are vastly outnumbered from all side by technologically superior units.Attached Files"Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." 1440 AD Scots capture Ottawa.
1445 AD Scots capture Nongoma.
Killed 2 Egyptian 4 stacks mincing about outside 2 of our powerful cities.
1465 AD A load of attacks from the Scots all failed.
Picked off a few more Egyptians roaming about.
Toronto is the most in danger city at the moment and will need 6 or more units.
Well I see we totally abondoned the 'pillage and recapture' tactic and back to the 'defend on own doorstep' tactic. The Egyptians should be close to surrendering though, we have 3 times as many cities and we're slowly picking off their loose units, we're producing at least 3 times as many (although losing a lot to the Scots), with Infantry and Cannons anyway. I was just aiming to keep as many cities as possible and hopefully overtake them, but lost 2 cities, we're on 15 now and cant afford to lose another. I pillaged the Phoenicians railway to pieces in some parts and hopefully they wont be as bad, the worst now are the Scots and Korea, who will soon have Tanks if they havent already.
Also an alliance with the Nigerians would be good at this point but im usually not very good at AI diplomacy and I didnt want to spend gold for nothing.Attached FilesLast edited by Maquiladora; December 15, 2004, 10:38.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)
