It looks like we have a pair of cities that are rather close to each other, on the peninsula to the north of my main island. I hope that there will be minimal friction between our pioneers. Toward this peacable goal, I claim only the mountain square that is directly adjacent to my town. I cede all other mountain squares in that range to my erstwhile Roman rival. (For the sake of clarity only, I have marked my mountain claim with a Phalanx. Please do not mistake this as a provocation, however pathetic it would seem!)
107 sent. Yes, apparently I did build my city Philippi(size 2) after you built Neapolis1(size 3). It was unintentional; my Listening Post did not come on line until the turn after the city was built. So I didn't know your city was there beforehand. I was hoping that we could turn the situation into an example of cooperation between our camps. I asked only for a single square of the mountain range, leaving you several mountain squares. I also sent a tech gift as payment, if you like. However, if it will cause a great strain in our relations, I will uproot the settlement and move it a few squares to the east. I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. You can decide. I can say that I won't be feeling "indebted" to you anymore, if you do force me to move the city. Like you said, there's plenty of room for everybody.
