In Windows XP there's some kind of Windows 95+ compatibility mode. It may not be turned on yet. (I'm not a XP guy, myself, sorry it's so general.)

Thanks for the help. I've been able to get CTP working, under Compatability Mode settings, but cannot get the CSG files to run properly. When I double click on them it just starts the game normally. I know you are supposed to run a regular game of CTP under version 1.2 to allow the game to Rewrite the Registry, but even after doing so, no luck. I have the 1.21 patch installed.
Help! I need to continue getting my butt kicked!!!

Be sure, that the csg-extention is "tied" with the ctp.exe file in the folder c:\Program Files\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\ctp folder and NOT to the playctp.exe in the c:\Program Files\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power folder.
I have had the problem myself!First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Reg search for .csg will show what and where.“The Communist Manifesto was correct…but…we see the privileges of the capitalist bourgeoisie yielding…to democratic organizations…In my judgment…success lies in a steady [peaceful] advance…[rather]…than in…a catastrophic crash."Eduard Bernstein
Or do we?
