Eldramatico, I have no problem with you taking Hive, even if Florin is also taking Hive. If you think it is your best choice, all 3 of your factions can be Hive. Do whatever you think is best.

Florin, what is your prefeence with respect to Tech Stagnation, on or off? As I said, you get your choice on tech stagnation and pods.

Hi,

I heard that you were modifying the game to remove the starting credits for morgan. We will play with angels, hive and morgan, and we chose the faction thinking of that advantage. We do not want that you modify the game, except for making copters cost more, or perhaps removing the planet buster. I would hate to play a game changed while all my team doesnt know about what's been changed. Please do not put changes in the research speed or anything. I would consider that cheating...

I was not planning on any changes at all. Morgan starts with the same credits he always does. Nothing costs more or less.

The only special rules I want for everyone are:
1. No atrocities
2. No copters
I already wrote in detail above why I feel that this game would be better with those two special rules.

As for settings, your team decided whether we have pods or tech stagnation. My understanding of your decision is:
1. Pods off (no pods).
2. Tech stagnation on (techs take longer to research).

Did you ever finish your new balanced Vets map? If so, why don't you post it and we can see if we want to give it a try for this game. Otherwise, I think we are planning on using your previous modified Vets map.

The new balanced map is still in early creation, it will take some time, it is actually done from scratch. but it's going to be 4 player one.
5 player modification is yet another thing.
I'm not sure when I can have them both.

For purposes of this game, since we have teams, we don't need total balance. We are starting the 5th faction on the island cluster closest to his teammates.

Anyway, I think the balanced map you created earlier will be fine for this. I was just curious about your new map progress.

So we are ready to begin. We would like to be in that turn order:

1 - USELESSES - Morganites - Starting in the Lower Right corner of the map
2 - FLORIN - Angels - Starting in the Upper Right corner of the map
3 - LOEVAN - Hive - Starting in the Lower Right corner of the isle in the middle, in the spot where there is an obelisk, not where there is a nutrient bonus on a stream.

We want to know where are your starting locations, as you already know where we are starting.

Tech stagnation On,
Pods off,
Look first starting locations

So when you are ready, after posting your starting locations, send the first turn to Uselesses and we'll be on our way.

I would like to move FLORIN to the Lower Left corner of the map, so that my two factions start closer together, with a decent amount of separation between teams.

Let me know if this change of starting location is not acceptable, and we can talk about what to do. Otherwise, I assume this is OK and Mart can make the game.
