New pbem

Looking for a new pbem.
Map around normal size...
any faction, humans play human factions, but both alien races possible as AI factions.
AI possibly enhanced by "super-factions" - modified faction files.
Also optional units in the game.
All negotiable.
SMAC or SMAX, but I would prefer smac ver. 5.0 as updated by XP compatibility patch.

Recent harddrive wipe

Had to reinstall Windows XP, but I really missed playing Alpha Centauri. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where my Alien Crossfire disc has vanished to. I have the SMAC disc though. I'll play with you. Arcainite@aol.com or Gatuu_Tetsu@yahoo.com

So far we have the following settings:

Rules standard minus 'blind research'
Factions:

Arcainite -----: ?
JMarshFox ---: University
mart7x5 ------: PK

map size, standard 40x80.

I will prepare scenario with starting locations:
AI start 1 to 4
Human start 1 to 3.
So we choose our starting locations, I choose the last. I hope this will give us equal start as possible as we can do it.

I can CMN, but im instead considering joining this if one of the players is inactive. We could always play the vets map or something instead of a likely-to-be-biased random map.
