I sent the turn to Enigma. I sent both the zip file, and the .sav file, in hopes of not having to waste another day, resending. I voted for Smacksim, by the way. And I think I made a big boo boo, in the strategy department, but heck, it's just a game.

Are you perchance using one of the older editions of SMAC that needs patching?
The Mac edition perhaps?

Reload the turn and replay it, seems to be the only way to solve this now. :/

I did it. i think there might have been a problem with my mail account. Try again now.

If it still doesn't work, please resend your save game, to try playing it again. I don't know what could be wrong.

Must be one of those bizarre SMAC things where the EOF byte is embedded by chance in there somewhere.

Post the turn on the forum, see what happens then. It might be -my- mail account!

Just a thought trying to be helpful. You all didn't confuse SMAC and SMAX by any chance?

I did. I accidentally tried to open the save with Smax. I think it's best if I say that right now, in case it's my fault. But it seemed to play fine when I then opened it with Smac. No turn complaint or anything. And it seemed to play fine after my turn. But feel free to associate the problem with this incident if nothing else can be found . I sure hope I didn't break it. I'm very very careful for the most part, but I got a little over-excited with a bunch of emails from Darsnan.
