I don't know what happened to the screenshot I took, but the PBEM in question took place over New Year's 2001, so perhaps I can be forgiven for losing it.
I'll tell it in words instead.
Misotu, once the highest-ranked PBEMist on these forums, was playing as my University ally. (I was the Hive - we were the Unethical Nihilists.)
We were playing against Googlie and RedFred as Gaia and Cult respectively. (They were the Naked Wormjockeys.)
In private emails, Mis and I started an anagram competition to rearrange my username "Alinestra Covelia". These included such howlers as "Neat Lilac Ovaries" and "A Salival Erection" (you know, when you have to coat your bunker towers in razorbeak spit to keep the mindworms away). The best result was a hard-to-find gem called "Vain Clitoral Ease", which won the competition hands down.
As luck would have it, Misotu built a University's base that turn and it was called "Climactic Research Base". This is clearly an ingame misspelling. I shot over a PBEM message "Provost, your early research into Orgasmatron technology is deeply disturbing."
In subsequent turns, she renamed the base "Vain Ease Research Base", causing me to landmark two squares of my territory "Cheeky Wee" and "Devil". Mis had just named a respondent landmark "**S********" when one of us got infiltrated by the enemy, who downloaded our map.

AC, Ill never see your name without s******ing again.
This scout patrol is promoted to elite after beating 6-8 units, mindworms, enemy troops, you name it. 3 on 1 turn sometimes. Of course it was bombarded by a spore launcher the whole time too. Fear the +2 morale. Its a SMAniaC game btw, hopefully i play better in the pbem..>!

I am firmly convinced to not build roads. They let enemies in easily, and it dosnt take very much time to get CP around anyway. Besides it looks cool this way. Also, boreholes generate FAR FAR to much ecodamage to be viable...when you get ecodamage global warming can destroy your faction quickly.
Looks like you're not using any crawlers either?! Must be very difficult to win a game this way, or is there some secret trick I'm missing?Comment

crawlers are 30 minerals and give a measly 2 back every turn. forests give 3\2\3. why would i waste tiles liek that??
