And I made it so that only I can get Plutonium Armor. I also changed singularity laser to Plutonic Laser, value 98, and set it to a plutonian empire specific tech, so only I can have it.

It just makes me sad that some people horribly abuse the AI players.

I know Lazerus enters into Pacts with them, "borrows" all their money and then declares Vendetta so that he doesn't have to pay it back.

I also know that the 4 experienced players in the "here there be pirates" game are just going to treat my little AIs as a resource to be exploited

Have prerequisite one set to "none", and prerequisite two to "disable", and then go into your favorite faction's .txt, and have the game give it to the faction for free at the start of the game. for me, I have a bunch of other faction specific techs for me to research (with the original faction specific text as one of the prerequisites, of course), to delay me from getting the uber-weapons until the game has progress significantly. Of course, I gave myself a few bonuses to come with those additional faction specific tech.

But too MANY bonuses (e.g., more stuff from fungus), can ruin the game, as i learned the hard way (lots of minerals from fungus gave me lots of eco damage, obviously).

the cost factor in alpa.txt for plutonium armor is 10. Stasis armour is 12 (default).

LOL! I actually RARELY play with no opponents, so it's NOT moot.

In fact, if I end up selecting an opponent who's leader is a hot babe, then I'll give my pluto techs to her.

My fave is Bre Ata of the Bree, a faction that I found on networknode.org.
