His stay will depend on his willingness to follow the rules. On one hand he was promising to follow the rules, while at the same time, posting PM's... which he knows is against the rules. So you must understand why it's difficult to take what he says seriously when his actions prove otherwise.

I'm sure he is looking at this thread and laughing whenever anybody posts a comment in his support. That's his game, and he seems to be playing it well based on how many people are ignoring the facts and believing his rants.

The problem is, most people don't see all the PM warnings that go out, and how the people stop after receiving them. Asher doesn't stop... so that is why he is constantly being restricted. But feel free to ignore reality and support him... he is enjoying every one of you

2. However, I'm going to have to admit most people probably didn't find your response terribly funny. I chuckled initially, but the feud got kinda boring and old.

4. Therefore, it would have been best to just post the way you normally do (people actually do like your posts), and put Asher on ignore.

We see no reason to imortalize people who are just looking for the attention. Just closing it gives them what they want... a chance to continue pointing at it.

I can only compare the Apolyton OT to the CFC one, and would say that here things appear to be a lot less moderated indeed. I cannot say anything about the moderators since i will be banned ( , just joking)
I cannot say anything about the moderators, since i do not know how they react that well, since i have not been an OT poster for long (mostly being a SL poster in the last few years).
However at CFC whenever someone begins to be offensive there are immediate warnings, and if he continues to be so he is banned.
I am in favour of permanent bans as well; and personally never liked trolling.

Just curious. I have seen it posted somewhere(can't remember where...maybe it was deleted?) that he posted the PMs 3 days after his original suspension was supposed to be lifted. Was he permabanned and didn't know it, a mod oversite on freeing him, aand unknown additional infraction of the rules, etc...??

I do not find permanent bans to be all negative, since i have seen forums utterly ruined by posters who clearly only post so as to infest the place with their idiocy.

I told him he wouldn't be unrestricted until he promised to follow the rules... He was his normal self and insulting as usual... demanding an apology after he was the one that broke the rules.

And while he was promising to follow the rules, he was posting the PM's... you make the call on how serious he was in saying he would follow the rules

But go ahead and believe his spin... he loves every post in his support. To him, it's a game, and many are playing along with him.
