    I'll always keep visiting poly.
If not only for the matter of fact that this is the only msgboard on which I'm one of the oldies, the veterans. One of those who were there from the beginning. Hence, those 2 months don't make a difference, don't they (don't say that they do since I'll cancel my plus subscription )

Oh, and I've even became an emperor lately (while I wasn't watching) Of course I'll stay overhere for eternity

Hmmm that reminds me that I didn't got a good fight with Ming or Markos for the past couple of.... years?
    Gotta do something about that

Not planning on going on a rampage, are you Markos? :worry:

On another subject- what's with the 'quoted for truth' campaign, I've seen at least three posters mention that in the past 3 days... why did the trend suddenly become so popular while I was on vacation?

Mark G, I have to say, as I was reading this post, I have found a home and a home for a Troll, especially a Grandpa Troll is not easy to find

Thank you and Dan for this hard work!

                Look Ma no attachments!!

I am sorry but could not resist..

A "Diety" has the responsibility of keeping all sub diety posters fit for duty..

however a "DEITY" well, I could tell ya but then well I would have to smoke ya

Civ4 should give 'Poly a boost for a couple of years. After that it's bound to stick around for a while (subject to owners remaining interested), and any future Civ game will boost it again.

it'd be nice if Rise of Nations or GalCiv could bring in as many new members as Civilization managed to effect.

I am not sure what happened with RON or RON T&P?

It is actually a very decent game but man when you try to keep up with several thousand units

I am wondering if AOE:III would have a chance here?

It is a RTS not a TBS but actually pretty decent, just might not make it in the CIV related category

me and Solver are big old fans of it and maybe we could somehow incorporate it under the Other Games if nothing else

the only bad thing about civ4 is it's bound to bring in lots of people and slow the site down . I don't like my off topic posting being interfered with.

If the owners ever made a decision to stop operating Apolyton, I would hope that they would poll current members to see if there was an individual or group of individuals that would be willing to take on the job.

There is a lot of technical capability and business experience in the current membership. For example, the group that has started up Eventis.
                              Haven't been here for ages....
