it would have been right back to him and with our lenient bapay replacement rules he'd lose only 2 spots
but what would happen if the next pickers wanted his bapay?
if I get a bapay just skip me and I'll pick when I can. That way I wont get a player others wanted. we're moving so fast we'll be done before the end of the monthComment

"IF YOU ARE BAPAYED: You have the right -- within 10 picks or 24 hours, whichever comes first -- to change your assigned BAPAY to any still-available player. The BAPAYed player goes back into the draft-eligible pool. Any and all intervening picks by other teams stand."
So the player assigned might be highly desirable or might be unwanted. Whether the following players might want that guy or not is irrelevant. Doesn't matter. What does matter is that the Bapay fills the appropriate positional need.
The Bapay rules are specific and will be followed. We're pretty lenient, but we do have a process. One that, hopefully, we won't have to use.

sometimes it ain't easier, but if the guy I wanted was bapayed in front of me and dropped after I picked and someone else got him I'd be pissed. Unless we were in a rush I'd have no problem asking the people who picked after the bapay if they want the player. Ofc the deeper we get into the draft the less relevant picks becomes
