  • Second guessed myself and started Kelce over Juwan Johnson. I blame Mahomes.

I counter this by starting my other TE.

  • An interesting week. I played Brisett over Mayes and, of course, Maye woke up while Jacoby was nowhere near his projecwreted points. But 4/5 of my defenders were in double digits with Bijan Robinson doing his thing and Sam LaPorta giving me the victory early last night. Now I get to face Berz.

    • If Buffalo stops the last drive in regulation I get the win over Berz (or if I had started Maye, tbh).

Something has to be done about Berz's shenanigans.

    • I've been doing some spreadsheet work and found this mildly interesting...
Total points from the QB position through week 5: 1675. Total points from combined defense: 1631.75

        That is, actually, quite interesting.

    • Somehow managed to win over Nimrods with the week's #2 score -- despite getting 9.84 from my QB (Shough).

        • Hurts has clots from getting cleated and he's on blood thinners. That's sad and surprising. The wound must have been deeper than a superficial cut, but who's got metal spikes? Or could a rubber spike tear something inside with pressure alone. I don't think you get deep vein thrombosis from a cut.

          • Uh oh, Eagles are in trouble. They're being accused of causing his clots. Little sleep because of testing, played the game, and loaded onto a plane for an int'l flight in a pressurized cabin.

            • Narrow win over my brother. His loss of Turpin early gave me opening after Bears shut down Bijan Robinson. Kittle and Pinero got just enough points to secure the win.

                • Nimrods are boom or bust. I made a big mistake dropping Likely, now I got 4 TEs and playing matchups. And Rabbit picked him up and has surged.

I was pretty shocked to see him sitting there. Almost didn't take him since I have Bowers, but couldn't resist.
                    So thanks!

                • I took 3 TEs because I didn't trust any of them and they've all been great at times... on my bench.

                  • Nimrods hand Berz first loss of season. I had to sweat out a win against Dallas. I was worried they might throw it to Lamb after the late INT.

                    • Week 7 analysis (sigh)

Demonballers takes over as the luckiest team with his narrow victory. Nimrods remain the unluckiest with an expected 4-3 record as they improve to 3 - 4 this week. Bzzz remains the strongest team while the rabbits over take the 2nd spot from the bananas for expected record. Based on my positional rankings, the Bananas look very vunerable when their QB and RB1 underperform. Bzz seems to have the most well rounded team. The Nimrods are like the Bananas by relying heavily on only a few players, but continue to be burdened by a very weak RB corps. Interestingly, Mingapolcos doesn't rank last for any position.

Bananas off to a great start in Week 8 -- 45 pts from 2 RBs, with Jahmyr Gibbs still to go!

                    • Poor Ming losing Lamar Jackson was really a bummer. I could have lost because of it too but luckily buffalo let Allen keep passing despite the blowout.

                      And Burrow/Nimrods, what a day
