He's been in DC 4 years and I thought he was a free agent, but as it turns out, winning the Stanley Cup triggered a 2-year extension. Apparently either he doesn't want it, or it's just not enough money...Barry Trotz is concluding his Washington Capitals coaching tenure on a high note, resigning from his post after helping lead the team to its first Stanley Cup victory.
