It looks like Butch Jones and the Tennessee Vols are only about 3 quarters of the way done with the rebuild in Knoxville. Vols looked incredibly good in the first half, decent in the third quarter, and abysmal in the 4th. This team now holds the record for allowing the largest lead to ever be overcome in Neyland by the Vols. Moving in the right direction, but still a year away from being a real contender."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

For Slowwhand:
Texas 3 @ Notre Dame 38
Rice 28 @ Texas 42
Is Texas good and Notre Dame REALLY good or is Texas just mediocre? We should know more after next week.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. Uh, Drake? Check the current Top 5 and then STFU.

It was actually a much better week for the Pac overall... just a bad week for the state of Oregon. Both Oregon teams lost to Michigan teams. **** you, Guy!
I daresay that if Mariota was still the Oregon QB, the Ducks would have won that game. At least they beat the spread, eh? I think Oregon is a 10-2 team this year at best: too many losses in what was already not the greatest of defenses, relative to other highly-ranked teams. The secondary is frighteningly porous...
That all being said, I think it's fair that Oregon is #12 and the top-ranked 1-loss team at the moment. They're lucky they get their top conference opponents such as Utah and USC at home. But right now the games at ASU and Stanford look much less concerning.
Pac-12 ranked:
1. USC - look dominant. Likely conference champs.
2. UCLA
3. Oregon
4. Utah
5. Arizona
6. Cal
7. Arizona State
8. Stanford
9. Washington
10. Oregon State
11. Colorado
12. Washington State
Loved the Auburn struggle w/ Jacksonville State. Too bad the Gamecocks couldn't seal the deal. But since they dropped 12 places, why the **** did Notre Dame rise in the AP poll, considering they needed a miraculous play to beat Virginia? Bull****. Florida State should have dropped as well, given their struggle against might South Florida, but rose 2 places instead.Tutto nel mondo è burla

Cal 45 - Texas 44
Aww, too bad Sloww
But at least Texas has played some real teams. It's too early to say how good the Big 12 really is since they've been pretty much scheduling pancakes to date. Next week, they'll have to start playing each other.Last edited by pchang; September 19, 2015, 23:42.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. After Cal vs. Texas, I turned my attention to Pro Football for the weekend. I have no real love/hate for either Alabama or Ole Miss. As for Stanford and USC, I hate them both. I would have needed something like what happened in the Dallas vs. Philly game: Stanford winning, but losing their starting QB to a broken collarbone.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. I am happy to see the Tide go down."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. Cal wins again! I could get used to this.
Looks like Texas needs a new special teams coach.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
