Congrats, Al.
What a horrible first opening week for the Pac-12
5 out of the 12 teams lose, 4 of those to teams over which they were favored. Stanford's offense is putrid, among the worst in the entire conference. How'd that happen? Even the Cougars could have scored at least 1 TD against Northwestern.
Oregon's offense looked fantastic, with Royce Freeman showing he's a total beast of a running back. He's going to break LaMichael James' school records this season at this rate, easily. But holy crap the defense... turrible. The secondary should all be replaced with migrant laborers, it would have the same effect and reduce scholarship costs.
Ranked:
1. USC - back in form with an all-round dominating performance.
2. Oregon - offense awesome, but defense is scary bad at the moment.
3. UCLA - started slow, but turned on the jets. The freshman QB looked great.
4. Utah - I think Michigan is going to be much better this year, so the victory was impressive in my book.
5. Cal - 73 points? Yeah, it was Grambling State, but still...
6. Arizona - Did not look all that great, but it was a win. Meh.
7. Oregon State - Climbing out of the gutter with a new coach. And Nebraska's loss in Riley's debut has to count as icing on the cake for Beaver fans.
8. ASU - Typical ASU face-plant on a big stage.
9. Washington - Defensive not bad. Offense bad.
10. Stanford - Defense less not bad. Offense awful.
11. Colorado - Since they played at what was 11 PM their time in Hawaii, cutting them some slack. Not the worst team in the conference.
12. Washington State - Lost to an FCS school that went 3-9 last season against mostly FCS opponents. No excuses can be made for this. Most embarrassing loss of the opening week for any school, by far. Leach can't survive another season, can he?Tutto nel mondo è burla

Cal
offense has been good, expected to still be good this year
defense has been worst in the league for the past couple years (the reason for their crappy records), expected to be mediocre at best this year
After week 2
offense - about as expected
defense - surprisingly decent“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Ranking the Pac 12 amounts to...what?Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

He does it because that's the conference he's interested in and he wants to share his opinion. Feel free to do the same with whatever conference you feel like doing.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!
