Call me when you're ready to play in the big leagues, Ming.
I haven't played in a fantasy league at poly in years, because this isn't the site I use for fantasy leagues.
Back in the day, too many people would not finish leagues that they started, so I stopped playing here.

And gee... last time I played in a fantasy league with you, you quit because you didn't get the player you wanted.
I've never quit a league I joined. You can't say the same.

      No surprise there.

They kicked your ass too many times so you took your ball and left. Must be nice to have a league where you can decide who plays and who doesn't. None of that rifraff competition nonsense.

Long on mouth short on showing up. You say you're an expert, lets see you man up and play poly fantasy again.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

      • Hilarious, a "quitter" running his mouth accusing someone of being long on mouth. It just doesn't get any funnier.

At least you don't deny that you quit.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Show me some facts about how my ass was kicked too many times... OH, you can't, because you are just making it up.
And I play at FFZ because I know most of the people in RL. They are my friends, we have fun, and they don't quit.

What is a fact is that you quit. Something that is true, and you can't deny it. You can make stuff up all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that you quit a league.

So feel free to keep making stuff up... It's no surprise coming from you, as most people at this site know.

That's certainly possible, but what I really, honest to God believe is that the Ohio State University will kick the **** out of Nebraska if they even make the Big Ten title game. Nebraska is a good but not great team this year.

            • Based on the the latest College Football Playoff Rankings, Nebraska would have to jump a lot of teams to be considered. With THE Ohio State number 8, they would have the best chance in the Big 10. However, I think the their chances are very slim at this point.

              • New College Football Playoff Committee rankings are out... and hot damn!

                1 Mississippi State 9-0
                2 Oregon 9-1
                3 Florida State 9-0
                4 TCU 8-1
                5 Alabama 8-1
                6 Arizona State 8-1
                7 Baylor 8-1
                8 Ohio State 8-1
                9 Auburn 7-2
                10 Mississippi 8-2
                11 UCLA 8-2
                12 Michigan State 7-2
                13 Kansas State 7-2
                14 Arizona 7-2
                15 Georgia 7-2
                16 Nebraska 8-1
                17 LSU 7-3
                18 Notre Dame 7-2
                19 Clemson 7-2
                20 Wisconsin 7-2
                21 Duke 8-1
                22 Georgia Tech 8-2
                23 Utah 6-3
                24 Texas A&M 7-3
                25 Minnesota 7-2
                Some observations:

                • Oregon makes a very unexpected jump over Florida State to #2, despite FSU still be undefeated. TCU jumps Alabama and slides into the top 4, while Arizona State, Baylor and Ohio State all surge dramatically. This shows that, so far, the committee is weighing quality wins much, much, MUCH more than any losses. I would expect, given this, that FSU will probably reclaim #2 if they win convincingly against Miami. But if they both win out their seasons, I'd expect Oregon to end as #2 regardless, as they'd have the Pac-12 championship to add to their resume.
                • I get the feeling that the committee is looking at each week more independently than the other polls do, pretty much ignoring what happened earlier in the season and focusing on current performance. That's a refreshing change, if so.
                • Baylor finally got some respect and that should make TCU nervous. If both teams win out, Baylor has the head-to-head and would potentially grab the playoff slot for being the conference champ. Speaking of that, it's possible all of these polls are just meaningless until the conference champs are decided and the committee will give that more weight than anything else.
                • If Mississippi State beats Alabama this week, then the SEC probably won't have 2 teams in the playoff. If Alabama beats Mississippi, and both win out the rest of the way, then it gets really dicey. Could the committee really give 2 of the 4 slots to 1-loss SEC teams over, say, 1-loss B1G champ Ohio State? But could they justify dropping a 1-loss MSU so far if their only loss is to a very highly-ranked Alabama?
                • Clemson is so overrated it hurts.

tOSU needs a lot of help to make the playoffs. Basically, several of the teams ahead of them would need to suffer unexpected losses. One possible scenario:
                    • FSU loses any game, and they're out of the top 4. In fact, I'd bet they'd drop a good amount.
                    • Mississippi State wallops Alabama, dropping the tide out of serious contention. Would need to be a blowout.
                    • Arizona State loses a game and cedes the Pac 12 South to UCLA, which then upsets Oregon in the Pac-12 championship. A 2-loss UCLA wouldn't be considered, despite winning the conference.

That's the most probable scenario I can devise. If Nebraska somehow wins the B1G, then I don't think they have any chance of making the playoffs.

                    • To have one loss where the final score was 61-58 is suck. See TCU-Baylor.

I won't lie, but I have a huge grin right now.

It's pretty clear that--for now--the committee isn't giving much weight to that result at all, which is why TCU is ranked ahead of Baylor, despite the Bears' head-to-head win. But that's because TCU's wins are, so far, more impressive. If Baylor wins out, then the head-to-head could very well come into play much more significantly.

TCU has the stronger OOC schedule, and the better loss. TCU still has to win out to have a shot.
