Sava is just like Ben. Dollars per yard? I guess he got that metric from wherever Ben gets his. Sproles is much more valuable than his yards would indicate.

BTW, my point re McCown is not just about receivers; it's about scheme. Trestman tailored his system to help a career mediocrity like McCown succeed (and hopefully, the QB Whisperer can do that again). But Lovie Smith's track record suggests McCown will be stuck in a predictable, run-first offense with a primary responsibility being the dreaded "game management." But never say never. Maybe Lovie's learned his lesson and hired a real offensive coordinator. Should be interesting.

BTW2, Mike Williams at $40 million is one of the most overpaid players in the league, especially for being a team's WR2. He's never had a 1000-yard season, and his chances of being relevant are not helped by Lovie's historically boring approach to offense. That doesn't even consider his off-field troubles, which date back to HS and college, and continue today.
