Cardinals beat Atlanta in punishing fashion, forcing 4 Matt Ryan picks.
The NFL is so topsy-turvy right now. The Falcons are terrible with SJax at RB and no WR's. The entire NFC East is garbage. Chicago is going to start coming down hard without Cutler. Carolina, Arizona, San Diego, and the Jets are legitimate wildcard teams. The Texans suck, Patriots are 6-2 but are far worse than their record indicates... and two of the three best teams in football barely won any games last year (Saints and Chiefs).Last edited by Al B. The Bengals are not a surprise playoff contender. They made it last year. That's why I didn't mention them. I was describing weird stuff you would not have expected to start the season.
The Jets are currently 7th in the AFC playoff standings. If the playoffs were today, KC, CIN, NE, and IND are the divisional teams with DEN and SD as wildcards with the 4-4 Jets 7th right on the edge. Man...sucks to be Dallas right now.
They have already started coming down, but it's the defense much more than Cutler that will cost them their season. Losing Briggs, who was having a monster year and calling the signals, was the true death knell. They've now lost both starting DTs, their MLB (DJ Williams) and field-general WLB (Briggs). They just don't have enough quality bodies to throw out there. They can't even figure out who can wear the green dot on their helmet to get the coaches' calls. Street free agents are being signed and getting playing time. Throw in a bad year from Peppers with Tillman being a shell of himself playing hurt, and you've got a recipe for disaster.Chicago is going to start coming down hard without Cutler.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Good week for the Giants. They didn't lose this week
Nick Foles threw a perfect game and had 7 TD's. Eagles fans are dumbfounded and Foles' Gold is the headline on the Daily News.
