Poly IDP (10 players): MJD, 9th overall. Despite having Sproles (when uninjured) and picking up Alfred Morris, this hurt.

Other league (8 players): Megatron, 2nd round, led the league in WR scoring (1pt/10 yds). Ryan Mathews, 6th round, 30th RB. Slated to be my third back but demoted to bye week/injury filler after I picked up Alfred Morris.

I was kicked by a rabbit to renew the IDP league today and when I started to do so I saw an intriguing checkbox on Yahoo that would turn it into a keeper league carrying over last year's rosters. I know we've talked about it before, and it always tends to be a we'll-do-it-next-year discussion, but does anyone want to turn IDP into a keeper league?

Not off last year's draft. Maybe if we're going to start with new approach this year it would be OK.

If off of last years final rosters, I could be willing to go along but only to keep other people from getting RG3 or Sproles.

Ok - so, since it's still early, do we want a keeper league this year that's not based on last year's IDP?

Not excited by this. Too many rules to discuss, and I like having a theoretical shot at every player in the NFL, every year.

If people want a keeper league, that entity should start fresh IMHO.

I am willing to join a keeper league. I am even willing to start it, if there's sufficient demand - but I'd be perfectly happy to join someone else's.

Obviously a keeper league must start fresh, for the following two reasons:
(1) So that people who don't want to commit to a keeper league can back out.
(2) So that people draft appropriately. People drafted last year assuming they would get their players for the year 2012 only. This has big effects on the relative values of, say, Andrew Luck and Tony Gonzalez.

I am willing to host a league again. I would slightly prefer doing a live draft or auction, honestly. The draft threads are fun but they're very time-consuming.

It's where Luck could be a better pick than Brady or Manning. P. Manning. A serviceable Center is a better pick than E. Manning.

Ok, I've re-registered the IDP league to move forward with a fresh draft. I believe Yahoo will notify everyone who was part of the league last year to claim their teams and from there we can figure out who is in and out.

In...again. (Though I haven't been checking Apolyton much lately, so I will try to keep checking it to have an idea of where we are at).

The definition of insanity is supposed to be doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result....but this will only be my third year in IDP hoping to win, so I'm not insane....yet....am I?
