IF YOU ARE BAPAYED: You have the right -- within 12 picks or 24 hours, whichever comes first -- to change your assigned BAPAY to any still-available player. The BAPAYed player goes back into the draft-eligible pool. Any and all intervening picks by other teams stand. A card laid is a card played.

Tulloch was not available to us via the BAPAY. Players wanting Tulloch should have access to him.

My pick was 4 hours ago, and all of you posted in the intervening span, so yeah, the BAPAY swapped out before our timers (had we been BAPAYed).

Sparrowhawk already quoted the rule on this very subject. This is what it is. You have no grounds for any discussion on this.

Good question. There's no rules provision for replacing Ryan Williams. Training camp injuries are an equal risk for everyone.

Proposal: After the draft and before free agency, we can do a Supplemental Draft for players with serious injuries. We've done it at FFZ (maybe here too; can't recall offhand), with order determined by the draft position of the injured player.

Does that sound fair to everyone?

I think we have done injury replacements before. I rarely play other leagues so it was probably this one. OTOH, my memory is sometimes on par with BK's reading skills

No, you don't. Similar to Berz not getting a second shot at Cribbs, Berry, Floyd or Thomas.

Couple things here.

One, you sparrow and I are in agreement. I just want to wait for Koya. Since JR is administering the BAPAY, I don't think he should also get to help himself to Tulloch. I don't like that. I also don't believe that it's happened before where the player assigning the bapay has also gotten themselves the player swapped out.

Tulloch goes to JR, according to the rules. This is not Jag's league, which has entirely different rules. Whether JR or anyone else updated Berz' pick, nothing would change - nobody before JR would have the right to the pick.

You can replace him on the waiver wire like everyone else. Otherwise, what about players who suddenly lose their starting jobs, or any of the other dozen reasons one might want to replace a player from the draft?

In any event, it's not in the rules, and I'm pretty sure we've been very clear that no rules may change once the draft starts.

I disagree with this, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. I think he should be permitted to supplement.

I agree, if for no other reason than I (vaguely, possibly incorrectly) remember getting screwed over by a pre-season injury in recent years myself and hitting the waiver wire to fix it.

Also, I don't care about Tulloch, nor should it matter if I did, but I kind of wish we'd stop changing picks several times since it makes it harder to keep track of who went where.
