Maybe. There have been conflicting reports, but there are some indications he may very well remain at Oregon. The Browns have given up on him, the Bills hired someone else, so the only team left courting him appears to be the Eagles. So we'll see!

But I've not seen any indication anyone within the Oregon program is particularly concerned about the NCAA sanctions being particularly heavy, either. I don't think it would really be the dominant factor in Kelly's decision.

      • Did he get a raise and/or extension a la O'Brien at PSU?

...with monetary help from billionaire booster Terrence Pegula, Penn State managed to retain O’Brien’s services. According to David Jones of The Patriot News, O’Brien will forgo the chance to jump to the NFL after he was given two concessions: forthcoming “structural and personnel changes in the Penn State athletic department” and a significant pay raise.

According to Jones, Pegula has donated $1.3 million to be added to O’Brien’s salary in 2013. That gift takes his total pay to $3.6 million, making O’Brien among the highest-paid coaches in college football.
Pegula also owns the Buffalo Sabres and built PSU's spiffy new hockey arena.

        • Everything is going according to the script.

Alabama is skull-****ing Notre Dame to the extent that the hilariously awful officiating benefiting the Tide is completely redundant.

          • An apt description. The Tide can pretty much name the final score.
As long as it ends in a zero.

Notre Dame losing just never gets old for me.

Hey, isn't this like 3 out of the last 4 BCS titles for Saban? Hate the douche, but that's pretty damned impressive.

              • ND needs the mercy rule.

And Alabama should just be in its own division from now on.

Well, that was a boring NC game, yet again. Auburn v. Oregon was the only one that's been really competitive over the past 4 years. Hopefully the playoffs will help eliminate these snoozers.

                      • Ouch.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
