It's not just Luongo's fault, but Vancouver did get routed 5-0. Luongo can't score goals there.

If so- it will not be because of this move-- you will recall I called this about 3 days ago-- Its perfect-- Luongo is "injured" so you get a chance to win with a very good Schneider-- If you win it costs nothing-- If you lose or Schneider is bad, you go back to Luongo in game 7 and win or lose you won't be judged at all for your use of Schneider in game 6

If the nucks win-- either this game or next, you can go back to your "#1" next series with the option of going to Schneider if you need to-- If they lose in game 7 with Luongo- the coach will have lost with his star


Bottom line I don't believe that Luongo is injured-- well at least not badly-- in the playoffs everyone is hurt a bit-- This is just a way to save face and play Schneider-- If Luongo had been stellar in games 4 and 5 and lost 2-1 I have no doubt he would be in the net now-- but with his struggles its easy to give Schneider a chance

Disagree-- In Luongo they have a goalie that has the tools to be great but who has sucked 4 straight clinching games-- Its not unusual for a team to try a different player to change things up-- BUt because of the huge contract etc etc and Luongo's perceived confidence issue--its "better" to have an "injury" and not be seen to be switching away from your "star"

Oh and first goal was not Schneider's fault but a goalie playing AMAZING might have stopped it

Yup Chicago is not p[laying well/ Vancouver IS playing well.

In all the Vancouver talk we lose sight of the fact that Crawford is a rookie and feeling a lot of pressure himself--- He has been pretty good most of the series ( but not OMG amazing)

It was a terrible defensive breakdown. Never should have been a shot in the first place. Schneider's played well, and I think he's an excellent goalie, and you can't argue with his results.

I just would like to see a chance for Luongo to exorcise his demons, once and for all, against this team.

If this team wants to give Bobby Lou days off during the playoffs, then great, I'm totally onside with this. But decide it before the series starts.

All the goals have been off turnovers - two immediately. Last one Hawks player had it bounce off stick instead of getting whole blade on it.
