The Chester's Tailors still have Jay Cutler and Robbie Gould going right now while Flash has Gerhart."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Looks like Flash is going to lose, actually. Sorry, Flash. During the draft, I was praising your team if you remember."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Okay my final fantasy question of the year.

And I apologize in advance for being that guy who blabbers about his fantasy team all year but there's a lot of cash (for me) on the line.

Now, it's me and one other guy for the championship. The pot, with the division winners getting their bonuses, stands at $1768. The winner gets 60% ($1061) and the runner-up gets 40% ($707).

Normally, from my understanding, the final two usually split it 50-50 before the games and the winner just gets bragging rights. I don't need to do that, however.

My question is, do I play it safe and walk away with the $884 or risk the 177 bucks to get the $1061?

Very simple yardage and TD rules, no negatives for anything, no PPR, no flex but you can start an WR instead of an RB

Here's my team and the matchups:

 Philip Rivers at Cincinnati
 Jamaal Charles vs. Tennessee
 Ahmad Bradshaw at Green Bay
 Andre Johnson at Denver
 Larry Fitzgerald vs. Dallas
 Vernon Davis at St. Louis
 Patriots D/ST at Buffalo
 Josh Brown vs. San Fran

I also have Ryan Torain at Jacksonville as a possibility instead of Charles or Bradshaw who have tougher matchups.

 This is his team:
 Tom Brady at Buffalo
 Michael Turner vs. New Orleans
 Ronnie Brown vs. Detroit
Greg Jennings vs. New York Giants
 Brandon Lloyd vs. Houston
 Kevin Boss at Green Bay
 Lions D/ST at Miami
 Josh Scobee vs. Washington

His starter's may be in flux though so he also has Jason Witten, Malcom Floyd, Thomas Jones, and Brian Westbrook as possibilities for him starting instead of some of those guys.

Is it just me or should I wipe the floor with him? What would you do? Take the $884 or risk dropping to $707 for a chance at $1061? How good are my chances?

Me being a "bird in the hand" type of guy, I'd take the $884 dollars and not look back.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

by the way, if MRT sees this, at how he told me to throw in the towel after Week 1 when I lost Ryan Grant for the season. at how he told me to throw in the towel after Week 1 when I lost Ryan Grant for the season.

I don't understand. Are you saying I should be 'nice' and split it when I think I have a better than even chance of winning it all?Originally posted by -Jrabbit View PostDepends on what kind of guy you are. I give you a better than 50% chance of winning that game. Maybe 55% or so.

It's a wash, but a 60-40 split is already pretty close to even, so I would go for it.

However, if it's traditional for the top two to agree to split, you might want to just go with the tradition."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. Your favorite team, in any sport, is the one that just won. If you were a woman, you'd likely be a slut." - Slowwhand, to Imran
