so we dont clutter up the draft threads

I'm OK with some draft-thread clutter, but we'll move any longer fantasy discussions here.

This seems like a good spot to remind folks that the IDP League will be starting its draft in about a week.

I'm thinking Tuesday, August 10. Maybe later.

I see what you're trying to do, Berzerker, but we now have THREE fantasy threads (and will have at least 1 more for the IDP league), not to mention the Are you Ready for some Football thread. You're making it so that there's more threads to keep track of.

maybe we should discuss settings here

I'm all for having the flex pos include TE

can we have a vote on that for idp? Is a majority good enough to make the change?

I read the arguments against in the other thread and found nothing compelling or convincing, making TEs more relevant is an argument for adding it to the flex, not against.

I don't want to see TE added to the flex spot; as discussed in the other thread, it messes with the game balance and adds basically no benefit. I don't like adding relevance to TEs - they're already adequately relevant, and there aren't enough useful TEs to want to make more of them relevant.

At how many fantasy points would you consider a TE useful?

I see a benefit - I might want to play 2 TEs rather than 3 RBs/WRs. Your argument aint consistent, TEs dont matter enough to bother with but it'll mess with the "game balance"? How so?

                anyway thats 1-1

I'm not interested in TE as a flex position.

I know I'm not in the IDP league but you all are silly. Why restrict what team owners can do senselessly? More choices the better!

I don't think it matters. If someone wants to use a TE as an optional player, let them. It's not like TE is an overpowering position of choice.
