College Football '10 - Conference switching chaos!!

You're the one who thinks Patterson is pissed off when he definitively said that the BCS matched the correct teams in the title game. He also said he was happy to be in the Fiesta Bowl and was excited to play Boise.
Me = I think Patterson is fine with being in the Fiesta Bowl because I heard him say he was.
Ming = I think the BCS is terrible and therefore assume that all the coaches who aren't in the title game will agree with me, no matter what they may actually say!!!

Patterson told his team it can still play for The Associated Press national championship. It's a long shot, because the Horned Frogs are third in the latest AP Top 25, behind Texas and Alabama, which are meeting in the BCS title game.
"That's what I told them, I said our whole deal is we're going to have to show the nation in this next bowl game that we belong, that we're one of the top two teams in the nation," Patterson said. "You can still win the AP, so that's what our whole goal is within the next month, to try to get ourself against a very good opponent, which is going to be hard to do anyway because they're a very good opponent."
Yeah... sounds like a guy thrilled that he was left out of the big dance...

While I would, and have, agree that Boise State vs. TCU will be a great game, when it's over at least one of them will get screwed. Boise State has had 2 fantastic years.
TCU has beat some good teams in their undefeated season.
I'll bet you that the loser of their game drops lower than is appropriate. Further than Florida dropped after getting trounced. Want to bet? Anyone?

Patterson is pointing out that TCU can still win the AP Poll, which is separate. He's ready to pull a Mike Leach and tell the establishment to stick it up their ass. He sees what's being done. Yes, he's glad they're going to a BCS Bowl. He still has his eyes open.
