whats wrong with Felipe López?

Nothing really wrong with him, but he was meant to be a universal backup guy. But now he has become a permanent SS which is less cool.

But the real reason I'm offering a trade is, I think, I have some pretty good pitchers, and I have too many of them. So I was hoping to trade two pretty good pitchers to a team hurting for pitching so I can lighten/balance my roster and pick up a good (i.e. upper tier starting) hitter.

The only offer on the table doesn't really accomplish that.

Damn, I love Inge. I'm not sure if he can sustain this hitting though, but... I'll consider it.



BUT, maybe I should offer some deals myself. Sloww, your team isn't doing so well with pitching. You have two starting pitchers ranked above 300. So I offer Kevin Millwood SP (rank 139), Chris Volstad SP (rank 154), and if you want I could throw in Stephen Drew SS (has a low rank due to injury, but was drafted high). For Jimmy Rollins SS.

And EmpFab, you have just two starting pitchers ranked over 200. You also seem to have an excess of talent at OF. So I offer Kevin Millwood SP (rank 139) and Chris Volstad SP (rank 154) for one of Carl Crawford, Jason Bay, Justin Upton, or Carlos Beltrán.

The rankings show how players perform. How can we put too much emphasis on stats when playing fantasy baseball? Stats are all we have.

We sure aren't going to get ahead because of intangibles. We have no column for clubhouse leadership.

If you go by the ****ty ranks, then you should just get Christian Guzman, (rank 171) over Jimmy Rollins (rank 222). Or Michael Cuddyer(54), who is almost in your esteemed top 50.
