My bigest problem with it was the fact they thought they had enough to over turn the call on the field. If it had been called a touchdown on the field, and they had overturned it, I would feel the same way. I don't think the replays could prove it either way.
Half the talking heads think it was the right call, and the other half think it stunk... yeah, conclusive
Now granted, 4th and inches, Pitt probably would have been able to score if they had the stones to give it a shot instead of going for the field goal.... but I thought the point of instant replay was to take the power of changing the game out of the refs hands.Keep on Civin'

Yes... they have sucked in short yardage. I would have LOVED to see the agony of the coach if he had to make that kind of decision. And then the drama of watching that decision played out.
But no... we weren't able to witness any of that. The point of instant replay is to overturn OBVIOUS mistakes.
There is no way anybody can look at those replays and say for certain that the ball crossed the endzone while the receiver had control and had both feet on the ground. The call on the field, no matter which way it went, should have stood.Keep on Civin'

Considering the fact that they gutted it out when they were down 21-3, rather then just giving up, says everything.Considering they needed an onside kick to take down KC, and only won because the Chiefs missed a potential game-winning FG... there is NO reason to give Norv Turner any credit.
