IF there is a 3 way tie MSU has the tiebreaker. As of now there is a 3 way tie.
So what? MSU plays PSU. And if somehow they all end up with 2 conf losses, then no Fiesta Bowl.

Penn St.'s loss this week really hurt MSU because if MSU had beaten PSU and they all had 1 conference loss - MSU would go. Now if MSU beats PSU and OSU doesn't lose either of it last 2 games the Buckeyes go. Not only that but if MSU beats PSU I don't think anyone from the Big 10 is going to a BCS game except the Rose Bowl.

ESPN websites says Orange is Best available Big 12 vs BCS at large. It also says Sugar is best available SEC vs BCS at large. Rose is best avaialable Big 10 vs best available Pac 10. Fiest is BCS at large vs BCS at large and it didn't rank who gets what of the at larges. Two of the four at-larges have to be the ACC Champ and Big East champ.
I ALWAYS prefer going to the official sites:
Besides, it is well known that the Fiesta has the tie in with the Big12 and the ACC has the tie in with the Orange.

Big Ten Conference-Rose Bowl
Big 12 Conference-Fiesta Bowl

And there is Florida putting a pasting on South Carolina.

It brings up an interesting point - at what point is losing one game balanced out by strength of schedule, for big schools? Not that it's particularly relevant this year (Texas Tech and Alabama both have quite difficult schedules), but take for example Penn State. Let's say they had won out. Their schedule is fairly easy (no particularly decent big 10 opposition this year, perhaps excepting OSU but even they are merely good and not great; not particularly hard non-conference schedule, I don't think). Let's say Texas Tech also wins out, but Bama loses. Florida wins the rest of its games, and for fun let's say they played a nonconference schedule of USC, Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri (added to the always difficult SEC). Is that good enough to go to the BCS championship instead of Penn State? It's clearly enough over Ball State or Boise State or what have you, but at what point should SOS matter even more than it clearly does?
I have to think that's one of the things that most harms college football - the fear of scheduling teams that might beat you, because ONE loss can torpedo your hopes for the BCS Championship, and two can torpedo your chances for a BCS bowl game, even if you play and beat amazing teams...

Didn't last, alas. Oregon State is still in the driver's seat, though. At Arizona and home against Oregon are both winnable games. If the Beavers get them both, the best USC can do is a non-title game, non-Rose appearance.
1. Alabama
2. Texas Tech
3. Texas
4. Florida
5. Oklahoma
6. Boise State
7. Penn State
8. Utah
9. Oklahoma State
10. USC
Only change was flipping Florida and Oklahoma in light of Florida's performance today. South Carolina is a better team than its record indicates and for Florida to absolutely destroy them like they did is quite auspicious. Definitely would take the Gators over the Sooners today, largely because the Sooners' defense looks suspect.

Oh, bull****. I won't. Let them come play in the Big 12, North or South.
