It just drives me batty that USC is ahead of Utah.
Utah is undefeated, and beat Oregon State, the Pac-10 frontrunner and the only team to beat the Trojans.

There's no good solution in this situation, but the fact that Tech was absolutely demolished makes it easier to put them at the back end of the three.
However, using that logic, Oklahoma ahead of Texas still doesn't square."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

I didn't say they should put Texas ahaead of Oklahoma.
I did say that Tech screwed up the whole Big 12.
Damn dumbasses. Tech, that is. Anyway, Big 12 still rules.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Texas beat Oklahoma in a neutral field 45-35 (Texas +10, Oklahoma -10)
Texas Tech beat Texas at Lubbock 39-33 (Texas Tech +6, Texas -6)
Oklahoma beat Texas Tech at Norman 65-21 (Oklahoma +44, Texas Tech -44)
Now one may say, wait, Texas won at neutral field. That's true, so why don't we add a 10 point minus for winning at home field (in betting it is usually a 3 point credit, so we are penalizing a bit more).
That makes it:
Oklahoma +24
Texas +14
Texas Tech -48“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

That's a *highly* arbitrary way of quantifying the difference between home field and neutral field. Why shouldn't neutral field be worth 20 points or even 30?
