Not particularly. There is no way that the BCS is putting two teams from the same conference in the national championship game... especially not two teams that played each other. We've seen that from two years ago when the pollsters made sure that Ohio State and Michigan wouldn't be playing again for the crown.

THE BCS doesn't "decide". Now if you are saying that it is impossible for the pollsters/computers to rank 2 teams from the same conf #1 and #2, I would say unlikely but not impossible.Originally posted by Imran Siddiqui

Penn State's loss pretty much ensures (barring a run of crazy upsets like last year) that the BCS title game will be contested between the SEC champion (Alabama or Florida) and the Big 12 South Division champion (Texas Tech, Texas or Oklahoma). Good times.
I'm rooting right for the two we have in position right now.
1. Alabama
2. Texas Tech
3. Texas
4. Oklahoma
5. Florida
6. Boise State
7. Penn State
8. Utah
9. Oklahoma State

Once again, look what happened 2 years ago. The pollsters made SURE that Michigan didn't finish #2 so that we wouldn't get a rematch.Originally posted by Deity Dude
