Being a Mets fan, you Yankees are first on the list always . Though as the Rays are my AL team, I gotta dislike all the other AL East teams . That and after 2004, BoSox fans became highly obnoxious and felt that the championship was owed them. I refer to them (to some of my BoSox cheering fans chagrin), as "Yankees Lite".

And yeah, Perez is REALLY freaking fast.

Honest to god, don't know why. You should hate the Braves, Phillies, and Marlins WAY more for the torture they've put you through over the last two decades than us. God knows that myself and most Yankee fans I know have no beef with you guys whatsoever and see no reason why we can't all get along.

Newsflash: Boston fans were highly obnoxious LONG before the curse was broken. Your blind hatred of the Yankees to that point just prevented you from seeing the truth. Them winning the championship, especially under the circumstances that they did it, only made them even more insufferable than they already were.

Don't be trying to weasel out of why you are the most hated team in baseball. The general obnoxious behavior of your fanbase, coupled with your obnoxious ownership, and your spending gobs of money, far more than anyone else, makes you far more hated.

Mets fans can just see y'all up close and therefore know all too well about the obnoxiousness and repugnance surrounding the franchise.

They were whiners. That doesn't make them obnoxious any more than it makes Cubs fans today obnoxious. I'm actually very happy to see the way they won their 2004 championship, by humbling the hated Yankees in the biggest collapse / choke of all time. Watching Jeter trying to deal with it only made it sweeter.

So I'll take the obnoxious "we deserve the championship every year" BoSox fans in exchange for the Yankees getting the crap beat out of them. And, at least, every time the BoSox win the big prize, it ain't the Yankees, and that much is a good thing.
