I may be wrong (need a replay to be sure), but from what I saw nobody touched his foot when he was already down (though the German player was near). But I'm not really sure now.

It was quite obvious on the wide angle replay (though it was in the corner of the High-Def picture).
The commentator on the American broadcast (full disclosure, he's a Scot ) pointed it out.
And, of course, if it is the same foot, I can understand the painfulness, since he's having surgery on one of his feet, which he's been playing injured on for the last three months.
