I just want to point out that Eli winning MVP is bull****. Even on the last drive that won the Giants the game, there were a few plays where the Patriots could (nay, should) have gotten a turnover and secured the game. (The Hobbs drop on the sideline stands out in particular in that regard.)

The Giants won this Super Bowl because of their defensive front seven. No question. Brady spent all night with red & white jerseys in his face and rarely (the two Patriot TD drives being the only exception) had any room to breathe. Without their defensive performance, the Giants never would have been in position to win. I would have given MVP to Umeniyora without a second thought.

Umenyiora wasn't the best player on the D-line, Tuck was the MVP of the D-Line.
