          Both are equally BS

          I said at the conclusion that I thought Strahan should've been given the MVP. Not because he was the best player on the defense today, but he's the captain of the defense; and he certainly played well enough. They can't give the MVP to the entire defense, so give it to someone, and Strahan gets my vote.

            I don't know anyone who jumped on the Pat's bandwagon, including everyone here that i'm aware of... the anti-pats bandwagon is much, much larger

            That said, I never consider the "anti-" bandwagon to be a negative thing. You're supposed to have loyalty for one team, but you're free to hate as you wish...

                Well, I've been calling the Giants wins for almost the entire postseason. I knew that they were up against a tough team against the Pats, but I still had faith that they'd pull it off. Just one problem, I live in Boston.

                  Same here. So I'm guessing you are at least a big a slut as I am then .


                  Oh, and for the record, I've rooted against the Pats in EVERY Superbowl they've played in since I've started following football (so everyone aside from SB XX). Yes, I was rooting for the Rams in 2001. So I ain't no johnny-come-lately Pats hater... unlike Slow... that slut.

                    In what way is rooting for the team that has virtually no chance to win a "bandwagon?"

                    Prior to the Super Bowl, I rooted for the team playing the Patriots in 18 consecutive games. Every time, I came away with my hopes shattered. I wasn't jumping on a bandwagon. I was jumping on the Hindenberg. Repeatedly.

                                Can't argue with you there, since I totally agree with you on that one. That's another Super Bowl where the MVP should have come from the winning team's defense.


                                The point is that usually when a QB from a team that plays great defense leads a 4th Q drive to win it, he gets the MVP... and usually there are no questions asked (Rice's MVP in SB XXIII being an obvious exception).

                                Oh, and reis is someone that can verify my solid rooting interests and lack of jumping for teams to root for.
