Apolyton NFL Playoff Pick'em 2008
As requested by Ming... who is actually making picks this year so he will undoutedly do better than last year...
It's that time of the year again, NFL fans! Thats right! All your crap talking now comes down to wether or not you can back it up in the playoffs!
And Congradulations to last years Champion, Imran Sidiqui!
The rules are simple. At the begining of the week, I will post which teams will be playing on Saturday and Sunday. All you have to do, is pick who you think will win. No point, just straight up who will win. Picks have to be made prior to the start of the first game of each day (ie: you don't have to make your Sunday picks on Saturday). Picks can either be made publicly, like they were for the most part last year, or they can be PMed to me (since I will be participating, I won't open PMed picks until after games have started... you can make sure I follow that rule by checking the PM message tracking). In the event of a tie, post the total number of points you think will be scored in the Super Bowl.
Two things:
1) last year, the first year we did this, I called it 'Apolyton Playoff Pick'em 2006, despite the playoffs actually happening in 2007... so should this year be 2008 or 2007?
2) How about raising the stakes this year? I propose that all participants have to put 'Apolyton Playoff Pick'em Champion 200*: ********' in their signature. If this passes, I guess I'll just have to let Ming off the hook if he doesn't make picks again...
