Well they need something because they were thoroughly outclassed tonight. There stars were invisible and the effort was lacklustre.

The only things the Flames managed was to spoil Nabokovs after the game was out of reach. I thought the shutout would make up for the Flames loss but no I get denied that too. But fandom wins over pool interests-- when the Flames scored, I cheered-- it was only later that I cursed

Ya it triply peeved me. I wanted the Flames to win despite this pool but when they were going to lose, I consoled myself with the shutout opportunity. NOt only did that goal spoil the shutout and give Huselius a plus but it gave Matt Carle a MINUS

Oh well- I think this week is going to be terrible for me anyway A quirk in the Ottawa schedule means our goalie games are pretty equal -- Hard to believe that could happen with 5 against two but thems the breaks

THis is actually a great week to be against people with Ottawa players. Just my luck that Hawkeice has none

I wouldn't quite say that-- Harding did the first game of a back-to-back last time and Minny has a road back to back now doing Calgary and Edmonton. They may rotate goalies but so far its mainly the back-to backs . . . and thats common for most teams . Even with the teams where the main guy plays 70--

Since thats the 3rd time you thanked me and then you seem to need to chronicle his points individually in some cases, I figure I might as well respond.



I do regret dropping Kane as he is having a very good stretch right now. He could even keep it up for a long stretch-- thats the risk you take when you drop any player-- I can live with it just fine

But since I picked him up as an UNDRAFTED free agent and you picked him up on waivers when you had LAST choice, wouldn't it be more appropriate to thank EVERYONE.

I've had some rough weeks and many, many close calls. Those stats are a bit misleading. Players playing well under their capability with the exception of Stastny for a few weeks running.

This week is looking more appropriate. If I had played you last week, Flubber, we'd have tied 4-4. You're not as far ahead as the stats would indicate. And in fact, you've got the farthest to fall out of everyone here -- and with your newbie mistakes on overloading on goalies, it'll happen sooner than you think.
