All I need is Crosby and St Louis to start scoring.
Although I am happy I got Kane...
There's a LOT of young potential on my team: Stastny, Crosby, Kane, Kopitar, Semin... here's hoping they can pull through. It's an interesting strategy for me, in any case. I love young talent over washed up older guys (Guerin, Tkachuk, etc)

Here's McCabe on Saturday getting checked by his own net:

I kinda figured that one might come up
At least for McCabe this was "only" a meaningless regular season game ( unless of course they miss the playoffs by one point again)
The Leafs always seem to fulfill my "wild ride" belief. When I checked thioe game I saw Leafs up 2-0 and thought "nah can't be right"-- The 4-4 score when I checked back seemed more in line with what I expected.
I do expect the Leafs will win some low-scoring games this season-- but I do not expect very many -- Their team seems built on run and gun
I will say this-- win or lose, it can be fun to watch ( in a 'can't take my eyes off the gory accident" kind of way)

I hadn't seen the McCabe falling over the net clip yet. I thought he just harmlessly fell, but he managed to give the puck away too

Last night, Anaheim and SJ seemed to come to life. Anaheim has been very UNimpressive early but to score a 6-3 win over Detroit could be a sign they are on their way back-- Or maybe it was just a hiccup-- just a weird thing-- But if I were a betting man, I would not bet against Anaheim being there toward the top of the standings
San Jose-- again a team that has been unimpressive early. But last night they took a decent Vancouver squad and owned them for most of the game. Again it could just be a little bump but I think that it is a sign of things to come and we will soon see that San Jose offense get untracked a bit. Chechoo certainly seemed to be over his spell of invisibility
