    Even ugly men get laid.

Hell, I suppose you'd be living proof of that.
Well in that case I wish I was as ugly as West Ham cos we've beaten Man Utd the last three times we've played them...

Has Newcastle EVER beaten Man Utd three times in a row...?

      Nobby's been great!

I've always rated him in the past but wasn't sure when we actually got him cos it seemed like his best years were already behind him. Instead, so far he's been playing great for us popping up with a couple of good goals - it seems like he's found a whole new lease of life now he's left Newcastle...

Shame he just got himself injured and added to our insane season-long injury list of a whole squad of first team players at any one time.

Nah, he's always been consistently good. His goal to game ratio has been pretty much constant the whole time. I think family troubles were weighing him down.

I still think that was the right smiley to use - very kind of you to work so hard to beat Man Yoo and be knackered for playing us.

          Forever blowing bubbles?

          • Hah, I'm only surprised it took you this long to get round to mocking me for yesterday...

I noticed Ljungberg couldn't face playing his old team again.

I don't like to gloat, really - I just wanted to thank The Irons again for helping us out. Twice in a week.

In other news - Big Fat Sam inches a little closer to the sack.

Nothing like a good bit of lighthearted banter between rival fans, in any case as a Hammers fan I am immune to gloating...

We should ask Imran what his predictions are for the Stoke game, but then he never got back to me...

Answer: Who knows, but they've just lost three times in a row...

                • It seems that The Beckham has landed again - at the Arsenal training ground where he is training during his US off-season.

Maybe he fancies a game or two? We could have him on the bench and bring him on to take a free kick if we need a goal in the last 10-15 mins.

                  • Hmmm, he seems to have stolen Manuel Almunia's hair.

                    • Stoke Vs Newcastle 0-0...

Let's just draw out Big Sam's demise even longer, shall we?

                      • And Stoke were the better team; no way did Newcaslte even deserve a draw.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

That's true. Allardyce is a disgrace.

On the other hand, Liverpool didn't win their game, and they don't have the excuse of a crap manager.

It could be worse. I think this is the worst Newcastle team since McFaul was in charge, and certainly the worst since Gordon Lee was the manager (the **** who sold MacDonald).

But given all this crap and such poor performances, we still aren't as crap as the Mackems.

                          • Newcastle are reported to be after signing Diarra. He's a fantastic player, although not someone prepared to fight for his place at a top club.

Hopefully Wenger will turn a tidy profit on the £2m he snapped him up for from Chelsea.

Allardyce should not be given any more money until he can actually get the players to play as a team. He wants to buy Wes Brown, who is another crock to add to our collection (although he can't be worse than Stephen Carr).

We managed to make it to the latter stages of the UEFA cup with defenders like Dabizas and Aaron Hughes in the team, and (apart from Jose Enrique) we have better defenders now than we did then.

He's hopeless. He finally realized that N'Zogbia is not a left back, and then plays David Rozenahl as the right back. If he was going to play anyone else, it should have been Taylor, who can actually contribute something at right back, even though it's not his preferred position.

Alan Smith has contributed nothing from midfield all season, yet he's looked a lot better up front. So Allardyce plays Mark the Pie Eater instead, who seems to have an invisible chain attached to him, and Duff instead of Milner. Meanwhile Smith is essentially a pylon in midfield and Allardyce has made him the captain, so he'll be staying there.

We'll get a good stuffing from Man U this weekend, and the next few weeks of fixtures don't look good. Glenn Roeder was a better manager than Allardyce, and he had no money and a massive injury crisis to deal with.

It's not that we're losing. The problem is that we aren't even playing.

                              • Didn't Smith play midfield a bit for Man Yoo? Not to say that things worked out for him there...
