  • Well, some consider him that .

Though Jacksonville may decide to deal Leftwich (who isn't that popular in Jacksonville) and take Quinn.

If neither, he may fall to Carolina at 25 (imagine how much they'd love that after getting another 2nd(+) for trading back).

    • Well, in any event, I don't like Dallas, so wouldn't want to see Quinn there. OTOH, Quinn to Fasano has a ring to it.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

        • He's an endorsement machine. Quite good at it. That's where he'll make his money.

The guy's very strong mentally. Handled the pressure at Notre Dame for 4 years like a champ.

          • What company is going to want to shell out big bucks for the endorsement of the #22 pick by the Cleveland Browns?

            • Once the ink is dry on the contract and you get into camp, it won't matter where he went in the draft.

He's photogenic and a good interview. He'll be in the limelight. The only negative is that Cleveland isn't a huge media market.

Besides, he's a respected 4-year starting QB for the golden dome. That puts him in good stead with some people.

                  • Three guesses, Dan.

                    Here's one hint: Matt.

                    Here's another: Millen.

                      • Bears take Greg Olsen TE-MIA. Good choice IMO, and I'm sort of surprised he fell this far. A pass catching TE. Perhaps Rex can actually throw to him

Or maybe Briggs will come back after all
